Description 

Readers/Editorial Assistants: 

As a reader, you will be assigned submissions to be read with feedback and/or notes given to the genre-editor.

As an Editorial assistant, you will edit/proofread/fact-check accepted submissions if such work meets our editorial standards. You will be in email correspondence with the Editor-In-Chief (used as EIC), and of course, the contributor/s who you may need to work with. It is an added advantage for us if Editors also have experience in web publishing. 

Social Media Managers:

As a Social Media manager, you will manage our Twitter account mainly, as well as Instagram and Facebook. In addition, this role demands that you notify our audience of works published on our website. Take note that if you are applying for this role, you must have requisite understanding of handling a Literary Mag and engaging posts. Most importantly, please familiarize yourself with our page and other beautiful Lit mags: study our Twitter page @WriteNowLit across all platforms, the page of other Magz: their posts, engagements and how this role is to be carried out. Asides announcing publications, you will be keeping our social media pages active and literary-relevant. Your role is a very important one. 

Web Publishers:

As the gatekeeper of this important Literary Mag, you will be working closely with the EIC and Assistant Editors. You will be publishing posts on our website with the content and designs provided. If you have at least, an intermediate knowledge in the use of Wordpress and Blogger, SEO, google ranking and analytics, this is for you. 

 

Designers:

Simple meal right? Ha Ha Not that simple. As Graphics designer for WriteNowLit, you will provide designs to go along with accepted submissions. Our style guide and brand details will be your good guide. You will also be working with the EIC and Assitant Editors who will discuss the theme of the work/s needing designs. 

At different times, you will create any form of media: designs, short videos animations etc. for the purpose of posting on our social media platforms. 

We like simple, creative, minimal and heart-grabbing designs. Please check our website and social media posts/accounts to see previous posts and designs.
